You might be asking, “What is The Pipeline Project?” The purpose of this project is to provide college athletic administrators, professional organizations, and current and prospective sport managers with data-driven insights into gender representation, employment trends, and diversity within leadership structures. The Pipeline Project also connects you with current research on the experiences and perceptions of intercollegiate athletic department employees (check out the resources page) so you can make more informed decisions about your department, team, and/or career path.
The Pipeline Project is an annual report on employment trends, but we will also dig deeper into specific positions and roles over time, as well as factors that may impact personnel and then organizational structures of athletic departments. We will share this information on our blog, social media posts, and in other reports, so be sure to stay connected.
